Aric's birthday
God he must be seventy
no, seventy-one
dear brother-in-law
(really we should have a better word
the Spanish do and likewise the Chinese)
how his smile, his humor
have enriched my life.
and such a playful, loving grandpa
now after four grandsons
the first grandaughter
may he live to see
her grow to graceful womanhood!
